One Dublin School is taking on the homeless crisis in an incredible way.
On December 22nd, 23rd and 24th, over 100 students, teachers and parents will take part in The Belvedere College Annual Sleep-Out.
In its 34th year, the initiative was set up under the school's mantra "People for Others" and aims to tackle the issue that is quickly becoming more than just a national problem, but a national outrage.
Belvedere College are taking on the problem of homelessness with their annual sleep-out.
Speaking about the event, the students explained "There are some people who see privately educated students like us as completely oblivious to the real problems facing modern Ireland. And yes, most of us are in a privileged position in society. But we do see, and we do care."
The event will take place in two Dublin locations: outside the Bank of Ireland, College Green, Dublin 2 and at the GPO, O'Connell Street, Dublin 1 in a bid to raise as much money as possible for the cause.
Their SleepOut Selfie Campaign even reached stars like Will Ferrell.
Last year, Belvedere College's incredible work raised a massive €225,021.61 for Focus Ireland, Peter McVerry Trust and HomeAgain.
