Netflix viewers 'hooked from beginning to end' as new film tops Irish charts

Netflix viewers have been praising one of its newest action-comedy films.

The streaming service released their new original movie Back in Action on Friday, 17th of January.

It quickly climbed Netflix charts over the weekend and is already sitting at number one in Ireland.

Starring Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx, it follows the lives of couple and former CIA agents, Emily and Matt. 

The synopsis reads: "Years after giving up life as CIA spies to start a family, Emily (Cameron Diaz) and Matt (Jamie Foxx) find themselves dragged back into the world of espionage when their cover is blown."

Viewers have been praising the action-comedy saying the film had them "hooked from beginning to end".

One Netflix fan wrote on X: "I’m sorry but the Back in Action movie was so good hooked from beginning to end."

Another commented: "Back In Action on Netflix was real good! I hope they get a sequel."

While one other added: "My new favourite film!"
