Thirteen people are before the courts this morning charged with burglary related offences.
An investigation under operation Thor, working out of garda stations in Clontarf, Howth, and Raheny has led to the arrest of 13 people on burglary related charges.
The offences range from burglary, trespass, possession of implements and articles used in thefts, robbery and the unauthorised taking of vehicles and handling of stolen property.
The 35 charges are the result of 28 separate incidents.
Gardaí have highlighted the importance of the public in tackling this kind of crime as we go into the winter months.
They're urging victims to inform them of property theft in order to prevent further robberies , as burglars often target the same neighbourhoods.
Operation Thor leans into enforcement and preventative activity to proactively address burglaries and theft of property.
Since its inception in 2015, there has been a sharp decline property related crime.
