A protest group is calling for broader public transport infrastructure across Dublin.
Activists want the LUAS expanded to places like Finglas and Poolbeg.
The Dublin Commuter coalition are lobbying political parties ahead of the election, to make transport a major part of the agenda.
They’re demanding transport infrastructure like the Metro, more cycle lanes, and an expansion of rail lines.
"It’s time we started designing for the people we are, not the vehicles we drive."

Very very happy to present the Manifesto of Dublin Commuter Coalition for General Election 2020#GE2020 #Election2020https://t.co/8gIspHVjb9
Kevin Carter from the group says public transport in Dublin is at breaking point, and needs proper investment:
"All candidates and parties should be aware and should take solace in the fact that mobility is about moving people, it's not about moving vehicles. Trying to keep moving at the expense of passengers on buses or people walking or people on bikes is the wrong way to go about this, you're moving less people. We need to start thinking about people as the centre of transport provision. We need to start thinking about sustainable transport."
