Gardai are making an appeal for witnesses to an assault and car theft in Meath.
The victim arranged to meet a possible buyer of his white Mercedes at the graveyard in Dunshauglin at 20 past 6 yesterday evening.
A red Toyota Auris arrived at the meeting point -
A man got out of the passenger side, assaulted the car owner and drove off in the merc in the Dublin direction.
The victim tried to stop the Toyota from leaving the scene, but he was hit by the car which was being driven by a woman.
It's believed two kids were in the back seat at the time.
