Gardaí have arrested a man in his early 50s after they uncovered a cannabis growhouse in Leitrim.
250 plants with a value of about 200 thousand euro were found in the house near Carrigallen.
Gardaí are describing the cannabis growing operation as "highly sophisticated".
The man arrested at the scene is being held at Carrick-on-Shannon Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act.
The house has been sealed off for a forensic technical examination.
