The Children's Rights Alliance has said there needs to be clear exceptions to mask-wearing for some children in schools.
The group has heard firsthand from parents calling their helpline that facemasks can interfere with their child's wellbeing.

Tanya Ward the CEO of the Children's Rights Alliance says that their main message is to keep schools open as closing schools leads to children being lost from the education system
Ms. Ward told us that there needs to be clear guidance given:
Tanys also said that it is hard for children to learn in cold conditions.
Some schools are forced to keep windows open to ensure there is the required amount of ventilation.
