A group of city councillors want the city council budget meeting deferred until cash to build public housing is guaranteed.
They say there is land available for 12,000 units.
Solidarity rep Michael O'Brien is one of 7 councillors who have put their name to the motion.
It comes ahead of tomorrow's meeting;
