Councillors will be debating an emergency motion tonight over the demolition of O'Rahilly house in Ballsbridge.
The home of 1916 leader Michael O'Rahilly was levelled by developer Derryroe last week.
It's prompted Dublin City Council to take legal action against the firm - accusing it of submitting misleading information over its plans for the site.
Charles Hulgraine is a former Architect and a member of the 1916 relatives alliance.
He says the house had a very colourful past.
Two weeks ago Dublin City Council voted to list 40 Herbert Park, O'Rahilly House, as a protected structure.
