Covid-19: Three more deaths; 218 cases in Dublin

Three more people have died from Covid-19 in Ireland.

Meanwhile, a further 357 new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in this country, with 218 of them occurring here in Dublin.

More than 31,500 people have now been diagnosed with the disease in the Republic.

While the total death toll stands at 1,787.

Acting Chief Medical Officer Dr. Ronan Glynn has said we have to focus on our response to the pandemic in the medium term.
