There's been a significant drop in the number of families entering emergency accommodation for the first time.
Between January and September of this year, 519 families in Dublin presented to emergency accommodation for the first time, down from 837 the previous year.
There are currently 865 families without a home in the county, the lowest figure since April 2016, down from 1,201 in January of this year.
While the data suggests the number of families becoming homeless in the capital is reducing, there has been an increase in singletons losing their homes, with that figure now standing at 2,994.
