Gardai are investigating after man was found to be unresponsive in the water at the Forty Foot in Sandycove.
Gardai, the Coast Guard and several ambulance personnel are at the scene.
The alarm was raised at the popular swimming spot at around 8am.
Gardai say that no further details are available.
