Wing has conducted a number of successful pilot runs in the greater Dublin area.
A drone delivery service for medicine supplies is coming to South Dublin.
Wing, backed by Google parent company Alphabet, aims to establish a 'rapid medical delivery network'.
It follows a number of successful pilots for drone deliveries in recent months.
Wing will partner with UK pharmaceutics company Apian in rolling out the service.

"They're going to start making medical supplies to hospitals and pharmacies in an undisclosed location in South Dublin," he said.
"The way drone delivery is pitched is that, first of all, it gives you quicker deliveries."

"So something that will take someone on a bike or in a car say, 15 minutes or even 20 minutes, will take two minutes for a drone."
"It doesn't have to go through traffic. But also that means that there's less congestion in the streets."
Delivery drone company Manna has achieved success with food deliveries in the Galway area.
But the venture into pharmaceutical products is a new venture in Ireland.
"If you look at the healthcare industry, especially medical supplies, in emergency situations, that's where you really need that time factor to come in," Vish adds.
