Two firearms have been recovered by Gardaí in Finglas.
Officers say a single barrel sawn-off shot gun along with a .22 pistol with four rounds of ammunition were found when two cars were searched in the area.
The search was part of ongoing policing operations targeting criminality in Finglas.
No arrests have were made.
The firearms have been removed for ballistic and forensic exams.
Gardai say enquiries are ongoing.
