Staff at a number of Dublin hospitals are to be balloted for industrial action.
SIPTU members in at least 40 hospitals around the country will be put to a vote in two weeks.
They include Tallaght, Beaumont, Connolly, St James's, The Coombe and The Mater.
It's in a row over public service agreements - like job evaluation and pay for interns.
