Less than a fifth of the funding available for traveller accommodation has been drawn down during the first half of 2019.
Dun Laoghaire is one five local authorities that have yet to even request money according to a parliamentary question from Sinn Féin's Eoin Ó Broin.
Meanwhile travellers' rights activist and actor, John Connors, says he's hopeful a plan to clamp down on evictions doesn't go ahead.
Dublin City Council has been looking for a security company to remove travellers living illegally on private land.
They're evicting us all apparently. Security is being hired. 7 days a week they said. Probably more loyalist paramilitaries. Trying take away our culture. Not our camp. I'll say a prayer for them... There is no quit in us. Where are all the pro Traveller politicians now ay? pic.twitter.com/6Y7WJAipmB

"We've a huge population of Travellers in Coolock".
"I know a lot of them are on what they call illegal encampments - living on council land for years, some for decades".
"A lot of them where hitting me up saying what ar we going to do, how are we going to fight this".
"So I hope their plans are no longer, but we'll see".
