Almost 4000 ESB customers are without power in south Dublin.
ESB crews are working to repair a fault in the Ballyboden area.
They hope to have power back by half past three.
Meanwhile a small number of customers are being affected by a fault in Whitehall - power there is due to be restored at 7pm.
