A significant Garda presence descended on Grafton Street on Thursday evening to break up an anti-lockdown protest.
Nine people arrested at a protest in the city centre on Thursday evening have been charged with public order offences.
Two others were given adult cautions.
Gardaí say they told people to disperse as the anti-lockdown rally was in breach of the public health restrictions.
A number of gardaí were filmed using batons to overpower protesters before pinning them on the ground and handcuffing them.
Nine men and two women aged between 20 and 60 were arrested during disturbances as the protest broke up.
Those charged are due in court next month.
