The smear tests scandal may affect hundreds more women.
As many as 15 hundred who've developed cancer may have to have their smear tests audited.

It is imperative that all of the women found in the HSE audit to have received false negative tests are met with immediately, and their families in the cases where the women are deceased. At this point, a full, independent enquiry is required.
