Rallies are due to take place at the Spire on O'Connell Street and at the Blanchardstown Library in Dublin 15 this afternoon.
The Blanchardstown rally will get undereway at 1pm while the rally at the Spire will take place at 3.
Organisers are asking those planning to attend to come in small groups, wear face masks and keep up social distancing.
George Floyd was an unarmed black man who died last week after a police officer in the US knelt on his neck.
He was immediately fired and has been charged with third degree murder.
George Floyd's death has lead to widespread protests and riots across the US.
