The average Dublin rental will set you back €2,395 a month.

The price of rent in Dublin is still on the rise, but at a slower rate.

Nationally - increases were seen for a 13th consecutive month.

Daft.ie's latest rental report shows a lack of housing supply is still a major factor.

However 'clouds on the horizon' will bring more rental accommodation on stream later this year.

The average Dublin rental stands at €2,395 per month - which is a 2.5 per cent increase year-on-year.

Just over 1,200 homes were put on the rental market at the start of this month.

Nationally - market rents have risen by 0.6 per cent in the first quarter of the year.

Despite consecutive rises - this is the slowest increase in rent prices in 13 quarters.
