A man in his 40s has been shot on the Northside.
The gun attack happened in Ballymun last night.
The latest shooting in the city happened in the Coultry Crescent area at around 9.45.
During the incident, a man was shot in the leg and he was taken to the Mater - where his condition this morning is not yet known.
Local gardaí are investigating the incident and scene has been preserved and investigations are ongoing.
The attack comes just days after another shooting in the area.
A garda was shot in the arm when gardaí attempted to raid a house in Barnewall Drive.
An 18-year-old man was also injured in the incident on Thursday.
