A new ban's just come into play, which will have a big impact on pubs.
From today, there's now a ban on buying nicotine inhaling products from vending machines or any type of self-service.
It's part of a clampdown on access to nicotine products to children.
Minister for Health Jennifer Carroll MacNeill says kids have been able to access these products, and this ban will ensure that this can no longer happen:
"From Monday, September 29th, there will be a ban on purchasing tobacco, cigarettes or vapes from vending machines or any type of self-service. This necessary change will reduce the availability of tobacco products. Sometimes children have been able to access these harmful products, this is unacceptable, and this ban will ensure that this can no longer happen," Jennifer Carroll McNeill said.
"This is another significant milestone in implementing our national tobacco control policy. The ban aligns with our broader public health strategy to reduce and prevent tobacco and nicotine use in society and ultimately save lives," the Health Minister added.
A bill is also on the way which will introduce stricter regulations on vapes, including hiding them in shops, banning colourful packaging, and restricting flavours.
