Seven people are in hospital suffering from the effects of smoke after a fire at an apartment building in Tallaght.
It happened around three this morning at Gleann Na Heorna, a social housing complex on Cookstown Way.
In total eleven people - including three children - had to rescued from a balcony.
Seven units of the brigade and three ambulances attended the scene.
The cause of the outbreak's being investigated.
