An Post's issued a stamp to mark the first Transatlantic flight.
It was completed by Captain, James Alcock, and navigator Lieutenant, Arthur Whitten Brown, 100 years ago this week.
The 3 thousand km crossing was from Newfoundland to Galway.
It took them 16 hours.
