The Government’s started a funding body for builders and developers.
Home Building Finance Ireland has opened for business, with 750 million euros to lend to small and medium developers.
It’s hoped the cash could help fund 7 and a half thousand new homes over the next five years.
All developments need to have a minimum of ten units, and the maximum loan size is 35 million euros.
