They're keen to see the guidance from health and safety experts about the reopening of schools.
Campaign group ISSU says they want to get back to the classroom but the advice around it needs to be clearer.
Transport is one of the issues they've raised.
The group wants to know how immunocompromised students are expected to get to school and what options will be provided to them.
Government advice is currently for everyone to avoid public transport where possible, though school buses will operate with a different system.
Students will have assigned seats as part of that plan.

The ISSU's also concerned about how an outbreak will be handled.
They're calling for a risk assessment plan to be developed and shared with them.
Spokesperson Luke Casserly insists they should know what Plan B is;
"It didn't really give students a lot of peace of mind to hear, for example, the Tánaiste say that clusters in schools will be inevitable
"We want to know what will happen when that happens and we want to know that students and their families will be safe
"What contingency will be put in place for students in those schools
"So we'd ask the Department to look at that and release that [...] to students and school communities as soon as possible", he told us.
They've started a #Safety4Students campaign on Twitter to get their voices heard.
