In his letter to the Taoiseach, Donald Trump congratulated Mícheál Martin on his recent appointment.
He added that he looks forward to the United States and Ireland working together.
A spokesperson for the Taoiseach says Mícheál Martin is 'pleased to have received the invitation' and is 'delighted to accept it'.
The Embassy in Washington will continue to engage with the White House team on the finer details.
In 2022, Mícheál Martin failed to get to the White House as he tested positive for Covid just before the scheduled meeting.
The then US President Joe Biden conducted the meeting virtually instead.
It has become an annual tradition for the Taoiseach to hold a bilateral meeting with the sitting US president in the Oval Office around St Patrick’s Day.
The US president is also gifted a bowl of shamrock as part of the visit.
The images are beamed around the world and it's widely considered to be invaluable access for the Irish Taoiseach.
Mícheál Martin is expected to use the opportunity to discuss the impact any tariffs imposed on the EU would have on Ireland.
