The funeral of 48 year old James O’Flaherty will take place in Derrybeg at 11am this morning.
While Catherine O’Donnell and her 13-year old son James Monaghan will be buried in Creeslough later this afternoon.
It follows two funerals that took place yesterday in the small Donegal village.
Fr John Joe Duffy told mourners yesterday that the community is united in grief.
Meanwhile, the Independent reports an examination’s being carried out into the recent history of any works done by contractors at the apartments and filling station that were destroyed by the blast.
It’s to help build a picture of the conditions of any gas and electricity systems in the buildings prior to the explosion last Friday.
It’s also reported an international team of blast analysis experts have begun to assess information in the hope of establishing the cause of the explosion.
