The Department of Homeland Security has suspended all actions implementing Donald Trump's Executive Order, which prevents people from seven mainly Muslim countries from entering the United States.
The move is in response to a ruling from a federal judge in Seattle, who ordered a temporary nationwide halt to the travel ban.
A statement from the DHS this evening says the Department of Justice plans to file an emergency stay of the judge's order and defend the US President's Executive Order.
