Two charged over attempted robbery in Ballyfermot

Two men arrested over an attempted theft in Ballyfermot yesterday have been charged.

Their arrests come after a number of thefts were reported along the Grand Canal between the first and fifth of February.

Yesterday gardai prevented an attempted robbery near Park West.

The man and a male teenager were arrested and are due before the courts this afternoon.
