The two men were arrested this morning as part of the investigation into the death of 17-year-old Keane Mulready Woods.
The remains of the Drogheda teenager were found dismembered at two separate locations in Dublin last month.
He vanished from his home on January 12th - 24 hours later his partial remains were discovered in a bag at Moatview Drive in Coolock.
Further remains were discovered inside a burning car in Drumcondra three days later.
The two men who were arrested this morning are being held at Balbriggan and Drogheda Garda stations.
