It comes after two people were found dead in Dublin this week.

A teenager and a man in his 50s are set to appear in court today in connection with separate incidents in Ongar and Raheny this week.

The teenager will appear before the Dublin Children's Court, today charged with the fatal assault of Aaron Keating.

The attack happened on the Main Street in Ongar on Tuesday evening.

The teenager was arrested on suspicion of murder after he presented himself to Gardaí accompanied by his mother on Wednesday morning.

Separately, a man in his 50s has been charged following the discovery of a woman's body in Raheny in the early hours of Thursday.

He is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice later this morning.

The woman, who was in her 40s, is understood to have suffered a violent death.

Two children, a teenager and a child said to be under the age of 10, were in the house at the time of the incident.
