Water Safety Ireland says it’s concerned that cold water will put lives at risk as beaches and open spaces reopen today.
Temperatures are set to soar over the next couple of days but people are being warned that water will still be very cold.
WSI is also urging people to be mindful of the HSE and Government guidelines in particular regard to travel, exercise and social distancing.
