Met Eireann has issued a series of weather warnings as Storm Brendan approaches
The city will be under a status yellow wind alert from 7am.

It will be in effect until just before midnight on Monday.
The forecaster is predicting it could bring wind gusts of up to 110 kilometres per hour.
Eleven counties along the west and south coasts will be under status orange warnings.

Winds in the status orange counties are expected to bring gusts of 130 kilometres per hour.
It comes after Met Eireann issued a weather advisory for the entire country until Thursday warning of blustery and wild conditions.Status Orange - Wind warning for Wexford, Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Waterford.
