
It happened at a property in Darndale shortly before 3pm yesterday afternoon.
A woman in her 70s has been taken to hospital after a dog attack here in Dublin.
Gardaí received reports to the incident on the northside at around 2:45pm yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, and the woman was then taken to Beaumont Hospital.
A Garda spokesperson says her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
"Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to an incident involving a dog that occurred at a property in Darndale, Dublin 17 at approximately 2:45pm yesterday, Tuesday 22nd April 2025. A woman, aged in his 70s, was taken to Beaumont hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries."
The dog - who is not reportedly not a 'restricted breed' - has since been removed by the local dog warden.
