Arsenal will be the much happier of the two teams after last night's Carabao Cup semi-final first leg.
They had Granit Xhaka sent off after just 24-minutes at Anfield, but dug in for a scoreless draw with Liverpool.
The sides will reconvene at the Emirates Stadium for the second leg next Thursday.
Gunners manager Mikel Arteta praised his players after their battling display.

Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp felt Liverpool's recent Covid problems might have affected them in their 0-0 draw with Arsenal.
They couldn't score despite Arsenal going down to 10 men.
Klopp says his team weren't playing at their normal level.
