Anthony Joshua is facing a seminal moment in his career. Expectations of Joshua have always been high since his gold medal winning performance at the Olympics in London 2012. Generall, Joshua has exceeded those expectations. 18 fights, 18 knockouts, only 44 rounds fought, they're frightening numbers.
Then there's his opponent, Wladimir Klitschko, and his 68 fights and 64 wins. Joshua hasn't fought anyone close to Klitschko's level regardless of how impressive his progress has been. Klitschko's coming from an unusual position, in that he lost his last fight, only his fourth defeat. The Ukranian has been proferring the line that he's 'obsessed' with beating Joshua. No surprise there considering his age (41) and his last performance against Tyson Fury.
Ireland's own World Champion, the former WBO middleweight champ, Andy Lee says Josua has all the tools to overcome his experienced opponent, and thereafter, to dominate the sport.
