Arsenal are the new Premier League leaders this evening after they beat Stoke 3-1 at the Emirates.

The result means they move ahead of Chelsea on goals scored. Manager Arsene Wenger told Sky Sports News that the better team won. "I believe in the second-half we deserved to win the game because we dominated it very well."

Sunderland have returned to the foot of the table after they were well beaten by Swansea, who started the day at the bottom, at the Liberty Stadium. It ended 3-0 in South Wales.

Hull drew 3-3 with Crystal Palace to move ahead of the Black Cats. Burnley beat Bournemouth 3-2, with Irish internationals Jeff Hendrick and Stephen Ward scoring goals which helped The Clarets to secure the 3 points. The early game went the way of Watford, who beat Everton 3-2.
