The 25-year-old Dubliner has signed a three-and-a-half year deal with the option for a further year.
Brady links up with Ireland team-mates Jeff Hendrick and Stephen Ward at the Turf Moor club.
Burnley manager, Sean Dyche, reckons Brady has plenty to offer. "He's got experience and he can play in three different positions so we'll see what he has in that respect," he said.
"I think he can add to what we do. He knows the demands I have here to get in the team so that's his first job, to earn the right to do that."
Speaking about his move Brady said: "It's a great move for me. The Premier League is where everybody wants to be and for me to get the opportunity, and the manager to give me the opportunity, to come and play in it again is fantastic."
"I'll grab my chance with both hands and hopefully I can do my bit to help the lads.
"I'm ready to work hard and learn how things work here and hopefully I can fit in and do my bit."
