The International Cricket Council's to review its punishments for ball-tampering following the Australia team scandal.

Under current rules, it's only an offence which carries a fine and a one-Test ban.

But Cricket Australia's given year-long bans to ousted captain Steve Smith and his deputy David Warner.

Cameron Bancroft was handed a nine-month suspension.
