Cronin to miss Six Nations

Sean Cronin will miss Ireland's entire Six Nations campaign.

Leinster have confirmed that he's looking at six to ten weeks out with a serious hamstring injury.

The hooker went of injured during the Pro12 win over Zebre ten days ago and it was initially thought that he would only be out for two weeks with a hamstring strain.

However a scan has shown that the injury is a lot worse than suspected.

Leinster coach, Stuart Lancaster, says Cronin has suffered a 'significant hamstring injury.'
