It was an historic day for Cuala and their loyal band of supporters, the Cuala Ultras, at Croke Park on St. Patrick's Day.
The Dublin and Leinster champions became the first Dublin club to win the All Ireland senior club hurling championship as they beat Ballyea by 2-19 to 1-10 in the final.
The Dalkey outfit delivered a dominant display that included goals from Colm Cronin and Jake Malone while midfielder, Darragh O'Connell hit three points as he won the Man of the Match award.
Dublin free-taker, David Treacy, top scored with nine points while AIB Leinster club Player of the Year, Con O'Callaghan weighed in with 0-02.
Colm Cronin's first-half goal put Cuala 1-02 to 0-01 up after just fifteen minutes but a second half goal from Niall Deasy narrowed the gap to four points before Malone found the back of the net on the 54th minute.
