Sinead Aherne led from the front on Sunday as Dublin won their first ever Lidl Ladies National Football League Division 1 title.
The captain scored 1-9 as the reigning All Ireland champions beat Mayo by 3-15 to 1-10 on a sun-drenched afternoon at Parnell Park.
The St Sylvester's woman managed to put 1-3 on the scoreboard before the Westeners even got going. Aherne finding the back of the net with a penalty after Nicole Owens was fouled in the area.

Laura McGinley also raised a green flag for the Girls in Blue as they ran in 2-10 to 1-5 in front at half-time.
On the restart Noelle Healy quickly added a third goal for the Dubs and they never looked back.
Dublin dominant throughout as they added a much coveted piece of silverware to the trophy cabinet.
