Dublin GAA fans are in for an early treat in January.
The footballers and hurlers will both be in action at Parnell Park on Sunday the 8th of January.
The All Ireland football champions will throw in at 4 o'clock against DCU in the O'Byrne Cup while the hurlers will open their defence of the Walsh Cup against Carlow at 2pm.
The footballers have been drawn with DCU, Wexford and UCD in group one of the O'Byrne Cup while Ger Cunningham's hurlers will play Carlow, Wexford and UCD in group three of the Walsh Cup.
