Dublin ladies are champions of Leinster for the 8th consectutive year.
The blues put behind them the loss of skipper Sinead Aherne through injury in the opening 10 mins and failing to score in the first 19 behind them to run out comfortable enough winners in the end here in Carlow.

Oonagh White who started in place of Jennifer Dunne took full advantage of her call up netting a first half brace of goals to help the champions lead 2-6 to 0-7.
It was 19 minutes in before the champions through Niamh Mc Evoy opened their account when trailing 0-3 to no score.
After the break as Westmeath suffered a crucial sin binning Dublin really opened up Nicole Owens and her club mate Niamh Mc Evoy added a goal each put the seal on the victory.
A comfotable enough win but overall plenty to work on ahead of the commencement of the All Ireland Series next month starting with Waterford.
