Dundalk remain on-course for another League and Cup double.
Stephen Kenny's side came from behind to beat their hosts Derry City by two goals to one in Tuesday's night's FAI Cup semi-final replay.
Ronan Curtis gave the Candystripes an early lead, but Dundalk battled-back with a penalty from Ciaran Kilduff before a goal from Ronan Finn mid-way through the second-half.
Dundalk will now take on Cork City in the final on November 6th.
