Henshaw a doubt for World Cup opener

Ireland management say they haven't made any decision to call up an injury replacement for Robbie Henshaw.

A hamstring injury looks more than likely to rule the Leinster Centre out of their World Cup opener against Scotland next week at least.

However depending on the results of a scan, he could potentially miss the whole tournament.

It was speculated Will Addison would be called up as a replacement, given he was pulled from Ulster's pre-season match against Glasgow.

A similar injury ruled Henshaw out of the 2015 opener against Canada.

Joe Schmidt says the speculation was always going to happen.
