A 2-1 defeat to RB Salzburg seemed to be sending them out.
But Rosenborg scored a late equaliser against RB Leipzig which meant the Scottish champions went through as group runners-up.

Rangers suffered a 1-0 defeat at Rapid Vienna which knocked them out.
Chelsea and Arsenal had already won their groups.
Last night, a young Chelsea team drew 2-2 at Vidi in Hungary.
Arsenal won 1-0 at home to Qarabag and are now unbeaten in 22 games.
