Stoke say they'll look to appoint a new manager as soon as possible after sacking Mark Hughes last night.
He was dismissed after their shock 2-1 FA Cup third round defeat to League Two Coventry.
Hughes - who'd been at the club for four-and-a-half years - was already under pressure before the game following a poor run of form in the Premier League.
They're just inside the bottom three on goal difference and level on points with Southampton, having lost 12 top flight games this season, winning just five.
Last week, the Welshman stormed out of a press conference when asked if he was concerned for his future, the club themselves had even moved to deny they were interested in changing managers in the middle of the season.
